Instructions to make Danwake:
  1. Pour flour and little baobab in a bowl and mix With your hand.
  2. Add warm water with dissolved potash in it and thoroughly mix until a soft consistency is achieved.
  3. Half-fill a medium size pot with water and bring to boil.
  4. Use your fingers to scoop the Danwake dough, in balls and drop into the pot of boiling water.
  5. Make as many balls as possible but not too many as to over-spill while cooking.
  6. Cover the pot half way and allow to cook until soft
  7. Remove the Danwake balls and place in cold water to cool for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the cold water and place in a bowl.
  8. Add the oil, seasoning cube, and red pepper to the Danwake balls and toss until evenly mixed.

Use Food to Boost Your Mood

The more of it you have, the happier you are going to feel. Nuts, along with raising your mood, can be a super protein source.

Cold water fish are good if you are wanting to be in a better mood. Herring, trout, tuna, wild salmon, and mackerel are all high in omega-3 fatty acids and DHA. DHA and omega-3s are two things that actually help the grey matter in your brain function a lot better. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can earnestly raise your mood.

Grains can be wonderful for fighting a terrible mood. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all excellent for helping you be in a happier state of mind. They fill you up better and that can help you with your moods too. Feeling starved can actually make you feel awful! These grains can elevate your mood because it’s not at all hard for your body to digest them. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps kick start a rise in your sugar levels which in turn kicks up your mood to a happier place.

Green tea is wonderful for moods. You knew it had to be included in this article, right? Green tea is loaded with an amino acid referred to as L-theanine. Research has discovered that this amino acid promotes the production of brain waves. This helps focus your mental energy while simultaneously calming your body. You likely already knew it is not difficult to get healthy when you drink green tea. And now you know green tea can help improve your mood also!
