Hey everyone, I hope you’re having an amazing day today. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, dalma. It is one of my favorites food recipes. This time, I’m gonna make it a bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Dalma is one of the most favored of recent trending foods in the world. It is enjoyed by millions daily. It’s easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. They are fine and they look wonderful. Dalma is something which I’ve loved my entire life.

Dalma is a traditional dish of Orissa. It is a kind of dal which contains nutritious vegetables like papaya, brinjal and some others. If you do not know how to cook, then venturing out with Dalma would be great. It is easy to prepare and at the same time consists of essential vitamins, nutrients and minerals present in vegetables.

To begin with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can cook dalma using 19 ingredients and 2 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Dalma:
  1. Make ready 1 medium potato cut into cubes
  2. Take 1 medium tomato cut into cubes
  3. Prepare 1 cup tondli, turai, pumpkin, brinjal,beans, carrot, raw papaya
  4. Make ready 2 green chilies,slitted
  5. Take 1 tsp ginger paste
  6. Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  7. Get 1 tbsp ghee
  8. Take 2 tsp oil
  9. Prepare 1 whole red chili
  10. Make ready 2 bay leaves
  11. Make ready 1 tsp mustard seeds
  12. Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  13. Get 1 pinch asafoetida
  14. Prepare 2 tsp cumin red chili powder
  15. Take 1/2 cup tuar dal
  16. Make ready 1/4 cup masoor dal
  17. Prepare to taste Salt
  18. Take 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  19. Take as required Water to make the gravy

It can be made using toor (arhar) dal, and an assortment of vegetables typically raw banana, eggplant, green papaya and pumpkins, simmered in a special spice blend. Instructions to make Dalma:

  2. Initially keep the flame high. - When the veggies start boiling, reduce the flame to low to medium. - Let the veggies are properly boiled. - When it is done, add chopped coriander leaves. - Now make the tadka. - Heat oil n ghee, and add all tadka ingredients to this. - When mustard seeds start to crackle, add this to hot dalma. - Sprinkle cumin red chili powder over this. - Serve hot with rice Enjoy

It’s easy to drive away your bad mood when you eat grains. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all great for helping you be in a happier state of mind. They fill you up better and that can help improve your moods as well. Feeling starved can really bring you down! The reason these grains are so good for your mood is that they are not hard to digest. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps kick start a rise in your blood sugar which in turn brings up your mood to a happier place.
